Để vụ nuôi tôm nước lợ 2020 đạt kết quả thắng lợi, ngành nông nghiệp tỉnh Khánh Hòa đã thông báo lịch thời nuôi tôm và đưa ra các khuyến cáo cho người nuôi cần tuân thủ.
Thận trọng thời tiết
Theo Trung tâm Dự báo khí tượng thủy văn Trung ương, dự báo trong những tháng đầu năm 2020, hiện tượng ENSO ở trạng thái trung tính nhưng nghiêng về pha nóng và vẫn có khả năng duy trì trạng thái này trong những tháng tiếp theo của nửa cuối năm 2020. Đây là yếu tố có khả năng ảnh hưởng đến hoạt động thả nuôi tôm nước lợ năm nay.
Do đó, để chủ động mùa vụ nuôi tôm, hạn chế thiệt hại do ảnh hưởng của biến đổi khí hậu, Sở NN-PTNT Khánh Hòa đã hướng dẫn lịch thời vụ nuôi tôm nước lợ năm 2020 trên địa bàn.
Bà Nguyễn Thị Toàn Thư, phụ trách phòng Nuôi trồng thủy sản (Chi cục Thủy sản Khánh Hòa) cho biết, đối với tôm sú, thời gian bắt đầu thả giống từ tháng 2 đến tháng 8. Trong đó, mật độ nuôi theo phương thức thâm canh, bán thâm canh từ 15-25 con/m2 và quảng canh, quảng canh cải tiến từ 5-10 con/m2. Mặt khác, ở những địa phương có điều kiện cơ sở hạ tầng, nguồn nước đảm bảo có thể thả giống đến cuối tháng 9.
Đối với nuôi tôm thẻ chân trắng, thời gian thả giống bắt đầu từ nửa cuối tháng 2 đến tháng 9. Trong đó, nuôi theo phương thức thâm canh, bán thâm canh nên áp dụng cho những ao lót bạc, thả giống mật độ cao trên 100 con/m2 hoặc ao đất có sự đầu tư cơ sở vật chất, trang thiết bị hiện đại và công nghê nuôi mới, tiên tiến. Đặc biệt hệ thống ao nuôi có xây dựng mương, cấp thoát riêng biệt, có ao xử lý nước thải, bùn thải trước khi đưa ra môi trường bên ngoài.
Ngược lại nuôi hình thức quảng canh, quảng canh cải tiến nên áp dụng cho những ao đất ít đầu tư, cơ sở vật chất và trang thiết bị. Để nuôi hiệu quả hơn nên áp dụng nuôi đa dạng sinh học như nuôi tôm chân trắng kết hợp cá rô phi hoặc tôm với cua…
Tuân thủ khuyến cáo
Chi cục Thủy sản Khánh Hòa cho biết, toàn tỉnh có khoảng 2.000ha nuôi tôm nước lợ, trong đó 1.574 ha nuôi tôm thẻ, còn lại là diện tích tôm sú, tập trung chủ yếu tại TX. Ninh Hòa và các huyện Cam Lâm, Vạn Ninh.
Theo bà Thư, lưu ý đối với người nuôi tôm sú thâm canh, bán thâm canh chỉ nên nuôi 1 vụ/năm. Còn nuôi tôm chân trắng thâm canh, bán thâm canh và tôm sú quảng canh cải tiến nuôi 2 vụ/năm.
Đồng thời, người nuôi cần tuân thủ thời gian ngắt vụ giữa các vụ nuôi là 1 tháng đối với những ao nuôi hiệu quả và 2 tháng đối với những ao nuôi bị thiệt hại do dịch bệnh hoặc thả nuôi các đối tượng khác (cá chẽm, cá mú, rô phi đơn tính, rong câu, hải sâm…) nhằm diệt mầm bệnh, tăng thu nhập, cải tạo môi trường.
Bên cạnh đó, Chi cục Thủy sản Khánh Hòa còn đưa ra khuyến cáo, trước khi thả tôm 5-10 ngày, các hộ nuôi tôm cần theo dõi chặt chẽ diễn biến thời tiết. Nếu thời tiết không thuận lợi cho nuôi tôm, bà con nên tạm dừng thả giống hoặc lấy ý kiến tư vấn từ cơ quan quản lý nuôi trồng thủy sản tại địa phương.
Mặt khác, người nuôi nên ương dưỡng 2-3 giai đoạn và sử dụng con giống cỡ lớn để thả nuôi thương phẩm cho hiệu quả. Đặc biệt, trong quá trình nuôi không sử dụng các loại hóa chất và kháng sinh cấm sử dụng theo quy định. Bên cạnh đó, để có con giống nuôi chất lượng, góp phần nuôi hiệu quả, các cơ sở nuôi, người nuôi nên liên kết cơ sở cung cấp giống uy tín, nằm trong chương trình giám sát dịch bệnh.
Ghi nhận của chúng tôi tại vùng nuôi tôm với diện tích khoảng 300 ha, ở xã Ninh Ích (TX Ninh Hòa), hiện người nuôi đang tập trung cải tạo ao nuôi. Ông Phạm Ngọc Khánh, Phó Chủ tịch UBND xã Ninh Ích cho biết, lịch thời vụ thả nuôi tôm năm 2020 địa phương đã nắm và đang thông báo cho người nuôi về các khuyến cáo được ngành nông nghiệp tỉnh đưa ra.
“Những năm gần đây tình hình dịch bệnh trên tôm diễn ra phức tạp. Vì vậy, người nuôi trên địa bàn cũng thận trọng thả nuôi và tuân thủ các khuyến cáo của địa phương. Từ đó không còn tình trạng “xé rào” thả nuôi ồ ạt như trước đây”, ông Khánh cho biết.
