Thịt heo, bò, gà đều tăng giá dịp Tết nhưng giá tôm hùm liên tục giảm khiến hàng trăm hộ dân ở Khánh
Đây là diễn biến bất thường bởi những năm trước, giá tôm luôn tăng vào dịp gần Tết. Chưa kể năm nay, các thực phẩm khác như thịt heo, bò, gà đều tăng mạnh.
Ba tháng trước, giá tôm hùm ở Khánh Hòa giao động từ 700.000 đồng đến 1,2 triệu/kg. Nhưng đến giữa tháng 12/2019, giá tôm liên tục giảm, chỉ còn 550.000 đến 1,1 triệu đồng/kg. Nhiều người không dám trữ hàng vì sợ lỗ thêm.

Theo các hộ nuôi tôm hùm xanh tại phường Cam Linh, TP Cam Ranh, có ngày giá tôm thương phẩm giảm từ 5.000 đến 10.000 đồng/kg.
“Nếu giữ nguyên giá như trong năm 2019 thì chúng yên tâm, còn nay giá rớt liên tục, nhiều người vì sợ lỗ nên đã bán tôm trong bè cho dù chưa đến tuổi”, ông Nguyễn Ngọc Thanh, người nuôi tôm ở Cam Ranh, nói.
Giá tôm xuống thấp trong khi tôm giống đắt đỏ, công thợ và thức ăn cũng tăng cao. Sau 8-9 tháng chăm sóc, hộ nuôi ít cũng lỗ vài trăm triệu, còn nhiều thì lên đến cả tỷ đồng.
Theo thống kê, trên địa bàn TP Cam Ranh có khoảng 45.000 ô lồng nuôi tôm hùm. Thời gian qua số hộ nuôi tôm tiếp tục tăng nhưng thu nhập từ nghề này không còn ổn định như trước.
Giá tôm hùm giảm khiến người nuôi lâm vào nợ nần. “Một trong những nguyên nhân giá tôm giảm là do chính sách siết xuất khẩu tôm bằng đường tiểu ngạch sang Trung Quốc”, ông Lê Xuân Hoàng, Chủ tịch Hội nông dân TP Cam Ranh, cho biết.
Một lý do khác là năm nay sản lượng tôm hùm thịt ở các tỉnh Nam Trung Bộ tăng cao do không bị ảnh hưởng mưa bão. Nguồn cung dồi dào khiến giá bán tôm hùm thấp hơn mọi năm.
