Trung tâm Khuyến nông Quốc gia phối hợp với Sở NN-PTNT tỉnh Quảng Ninh vừa tổ chức hội thảo đánh giá, nhân rộng mô hình nuôi tôm sú 2019.
Theo Tổng cục thủy sản, định hướng ngành thủy sản đến năm 2020 kinh tế thủy sản đóng góp 30 – 35% GDP trong khối nông – lâm – ngư nghiệp, tốc độ tăng giá trị sản xuất ngành thủy sản từ 8 – 10%/năm. Kim ngạch xuất khẩu thủy sản đạt 8 – 9 tỷ USD, tổng sản lượng thủy sản đạt 6,5 – 7 triệu tấn, trong đó nuôi trồng thủy sản chiếm đến 70% tổng sản lượng.
Nuôi trồng thủy sản nước lợ tiếp tục phát triển mạnh đối với các sản phẩm chủ lực theo nhu cầu thị trường, phù hợp với điều kiện sinh thái, phục vụ XK. Cụ thể, tôm nước lợ đang được nuôi tại 30 tỉnh thành và trở thành sản phẩm hàng hóa ở nước ta gồm 2 loài: Tôm sú và tôm chân trắng. Tôm sú bắt đầu được sản xuất nhân tạo và nuôi tại Việt Nam từ những năm đầu của thập niên 80, thế kỷ 20 gắn với nghề nuôi thương phẩm phát triển.
Tại hội thảo, đại diện các đơn vị đã có những đánh giá sát thực và rõ nét về hiệu quả các dự án nuôi tôm sú, từ đó đưa ra kinh nghiệm, phương án cho các địa phương đưa ra phương án nhân rộng mô hình nuôi.
Hiện hình thức nuôi tôm sú chính trên cả nước được người dân áp dụng, bao gồm: Nuôi thâm canh và bán thâm canh, nuôi quảng canh cải tiến, nuôi tôm sú kết hợp với diện tích trồng lúa. Đại diện doanh nghiệp nuôi trồng thủy sản đã xin ý kiến khắc phục khó khăn, vướng mắc trong hình thức nuôi, kiểm soát đảm bảo quy hoạch vùng nuôi, kiểm soát con giống thả nuôi và hạn chế lạm dụng hóa chất trong chăn nuôi.
TS Bùi Quang Tề, Viện Nghiên cứu Nuôi trồng thủy sản 1 cho rằng: Người dân nuôi trồng thủy sản nên kiểm soát chặt chẽ dịch bệnh, không để dịch bệnh lây lan. Tuy nhiên, công việc này hết sức khó khăn, bởi người dân đang mất quá nhiều tiền bạc để đối phó với dịch bệnh mới.
“Quá trình thử nghiệm thuốc cần phải có thời gian và không được sử dụng tràn lan, gây lãng phí mà không hiệu quả. Chúng tôi đã ghi nhận sự ảnh hưởng của biến đổi khí hậu khiến xâm nhập mặn quá mức, kéo theo nhiều dịch bệnh mới mỗi năm”, ông Tề cho hay.
Theo ông Vương Văn Oanh, Chi cục phó Chi cục thủy sản tỉnh Quảng Ninh, đối với địa phương này, nuôi trồng thủy sản đã có bước phát triển theo chiều sâu, chuyển dịch dần từ diện tích nuôi quảng canh cải tiến sang nuôi bán thâm canh, thâm canh và siêu thâm canh. Tỷ lệ diện tích nuôi bán thâm canh, thâm canh, siêu thâm canh chiếm khoảng 30% diện tích. Cơ sở hạ tầng vùng sản xuất và nuôi trồng thủy sản tập trung trọng tâm, trọng điểm đã được quan tâm đầu tư.
“Có thể kể đến các dự án lớn như dự án Trung tâm sản xuất giống công nghệ cao và nuôi thực nghiệm giống hải sản tại huyện Đầm Hà quy mô 125ha, công suất khoảng 3,5 tỷ tôm giống. Tổng diện tích nuôi tôm đạt 10.821 ha (nuôi tôm thẻ chân trắng 4.671ha, tôm sú 6.150ha), trong đó diện tích nuôi tôm công nghiệp chiếm 5,83% so với diện tích nuôi tôm thâm canh của cả nước; sản lượng đạt 13.930 tấn. Địa phương tiếp tục xác định tôm nước lợ là đối tượng nuôi trồng chủ lực”, ông Oanh nói.
Định hướng phát triển diện tích nuôi tôm sú trên cả nước, giai đoạn 2021-2021 đạt trên 750.000 ha (nuôi tôm sú sinh thái, hữu cơ, quảng canh cải tiến, tôm lúa đạt 540.000ha; nuôi tôm sú bán thâm canh, thâm canh đạt 60.000ha; nuôi tôm thẻ chân trắng đạt 150.000ha). Trong đó vùng ĐBSCL chiếm 88% cả nước. Tổng sản lượng ước đạt 1.100.000 tấn.
Hội thảo là nơi trao đổi kinh nghiệm, thông tin giữa các nhà khoa học, cơ quan quản lý và cộng đồng doanh nghiệp, cá nhân, tổ chức nuôi tôm sú. Đồng thời là cầu nối đề xuất các chính sách, giải pháp xây dựng và phát triển mô hình nuôi tôm sú bền vững.
