(Thủy sản Việt Nam) – Anh Lê Trọng Nghĩa, xã Lộc An, huyện Đất Đỏ, tỉnh Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu được biết đến là một trong 16 nông dân nuôi trồng thủy sản giỏi nhất cả nước năm qua. Thế nhưng, để có được kết quả này, anh cũng đã trải qua nhiều thất bại.
Những kinh nghiệm nền tảng
Khoảng năm 1994, khi mới ngoài 20 tuổi, vừa xuất ngũ trở về, anh Lê Trọng Nghĩa bắt đầu vào khai hoang vùng đất Lộc An. Sau vài năm cải tạo, anh đã có thành quả đầu tiên, đó là hơn 1 ha mặt nước ao nuôi cua biển.
Những ngày đầu lập nghiệp vô cùng gian nan. Anh Nghĩa nhớ lại, thời đó thiếu thốn đủ thứ, máy móc chẳng có như bây giờ, đào ao, đắp bờ cũng bằng tay, sức người hạn chế nên ao đào xong đều bị lũ cuốn trôi. Tiền vốn không có, tôi vay anh em để đầu tư. Sau thời gian miệt mài vất vả, cuối cùng anh cũng đã thành công trong lĩnh vực nuôi cua và được gắn với biệt danh “vua cua biển vùng Đất Đỏ”.
Thời thế thay đổi, đến những năm 2000, theo phong trào nuôi tôm của mọi người, anh cũng vào vùng đất Lộc An để đầu tư nuôi tôm. Mới tham gia nuôi tôm nên anh cũng chịu nhiều thất bại. Hiểu được nguyên nhân, anh quyết tâm tham gia học hỏi từ các lớp tập huấn khuyến nông, đồng thời tìm về các mô hình nuôi tôm khu vực miền Tây, Đông Nam bộ để học hỏi kinh nghiệm. Từ những đợt đi thực tế này, anh trở về và xây dựng đầm nuôi tôm của riêng mình với những kỹ thuật đào đầm, thả giống, chăm sóc… riêng. Nhờ có trang bị kiến thức tốt, thành công đã mỉm cười với anh.

“Chìa khóa” thành công
Anh Lê Trọng Nghĩa hiện đã sở hữu tài sản “kếch xù” với 14 ao nuôi tôm – cá trên tổng diện tích gần 5 ha. Ngoài cá chẽm, mỗi năm anh thu hoạch khoảng 60 – 70 tấn tôm sú, tôm thẻ chân trắng. Tùy theo giá thị trường, sau khi trừ chi phí, anh Nghĩa thu lãi vài tỷ đồng/năm, giải quyết việc làm thường xuyên cho hơn chục lao động.
Thành công là vậy nhưng anh Nghĩa cho rằng, việc nuôi tôm rất bấp bênh, cần có kinh nghiệm phát hiện sớm các triệu chứng khi tôm mắc bệnh, như bệnh do môi trường ô nhiễm từ các hộ nuôi xả thải ra, hay các hội chứng còi cọc trên tôm… Như năm 2013, tôm nuôi của anh và các hộ xung quanh bị bệnh đốm trắng. Từ kinh nghiệm của mình, anh đã thả nuôi tôm xen cá chẽm nhằm giảm thiểu ô nhiễm môi trường ao nuôi. Kết quả, rủi ro trong nuôi tôm của anh Nghĩa giảm rõ rệt. Hiện, anh Nghĩa nuôi xen canh 2 đối tượng này mỗi vụ, “riêng cá chẽm mỗi vụ nuôi tôi cũng thu 40 – 50 tấn, lãi khoảng 500 – 600 triệu đồng”, anh Nghĩa cho biết. Ông Phạm Văn Xum, Chủ tịch Hội Nông dân huyện Đất Đỏ khi nói về anh Nghĩa đã khẳng định: Anh Nghĩa không chỉ ham học hỏi, nắm bắt được kỹ thuật nuôi trồng, mà còn là người có ý chí sắt đá. Từ những thất bại của bản thân, anh đã rút ra kinh nghiệm và có cách làm riêng của mình và đã thành công trên cương vị một người chủ và trở thành một trong 16 nông dân tiêu biểu của cả nước.
“Nhiều người nuôi tôm khác đã tìm đến học hỏi và được anh “truyền” hết kinh nghiệm, bí quyết, giúp họ cùng thành công. Hiện nay, chúng tôi đang có kế hoạch nhân rộng mô hình này ra toàn tỉnh, với hy vọng sẽ có nhiều nông dân tỷ phú như anh Nghĩa”, ông Xum cho biết thêm.
