Ông Nguyễn Trường Đại (xã Vĩnh Thanh, huyện Nhơn Trạch) giới thiệu hệ thống xử lý chất thải trong nuôi tôm.
Cách làm này giúp ông kiểm soát chất lượng nước, tôm lớn nhanh, ít nhiễm bệnh. Không những bảo vệ môi trường, hệ thống xử lý nước thải bằng biogas còn cung cấp nguồn khí gas phục vụ sinh hoạt hằng ngày cho gia đình.
* Làm sạch nước ao tôm
Những năm qua, nhiều hộ nuôi tôm trên địa bàn xã Vĩnh Thanh sau mỗi mùa thu hoạch đều xả nước thải trong ao trực tiếp ra môi trường mà không qua xử lý. Đến khi thả giống mới lại dùng chính nguồn nước ấy vào ao nuôi tôm. Hậu quả là tôm nhiễm bệnh, chết hàng loạt hoặc chậm lớn.
Nhận thấy điều này, ông Đại nghĩ ra cách áp dụng mô hình xử lý biogas trong nuôi heo cho nuôi tôm. Hệ thống này gồm 3 hầm phân hủy bằng composite có dung tích 18m3 chôn dưới đất được thiết kế thông nhau bằng ống nhựa đường kính 110mm, 1 túi chứa khí gas rộng 8m và dài 20m.
Ông Đại chia sẻ, xác lột của tôm nếu xả trực tiếp ra môi trường thì quá trình phân hủy sẽ gây ảnh hưởng đến nguồn nước. Áp dụng theo nguyên lý biogas xử lý chất thải trong chăn nuôi heo để xử lý chất thải trong nuôi tôm siêu thâm canh, ông Đạt cho lót bạt ở đáy, rồi dùng máy ép tấm bạt thành hình ống để làm túi chứa khí biogas. Túi được đặt dưới ao một đầu chỉ được mở khi hút chất thải, đầu còn lại đấu nối với ống nhựa dẫn đến hầm phân hủy.
Mỗi ngày 2 lần, sau khi cho tôm ăn khoảng 1 giờ, ông dùng quạt ly tâm để hút phân tôm, xác tôm lột và thức ăn dư thừa dưới đáy ao đưa vào hầm phân hủy. Chất thải sau khi đưa vào hầm khoảng 10 ngày thì sẽ có khí đốt. Khí đốt này được dẫn vào một hầm riêng phục vụ cho nấu nướng, bơm nước và chạy máy quạt làm mát, tạo oxy trong ao nuôi. Chất thải còn lại trong hầm được hút lên làm phân bón hữu cơ cho cây trồng.
* Tiết kiệm chi phí đáng kể
Từ một vuông tôm thử nghiệm, đến nay, tất cả ao tôm của ông Đại đều được lắp đặt hệ thống xử lý chất thải. “Trước đây, cứ 3 tháng nhà tôi hết một bình gas, mỗi tháng tốn khoảng 700 ngàn tiền dầu cho máy làm mát và đèn chiếu sáng ngoài ao. Giờ đây không mất bình gas nào, cũng không phải mua dầu nữa. Lượng gas nhiều quá, tôi còn cho máy phát điện thắp sáng ban đêm. Tôm được xử lý chất thải hằng ngày, có quạt làm mát liên tục nên lớn nhanh, dịch bệnh giảm đáng kể. Lợi ba bốn đường” – ông Đại vui vẻ.
Với cách xử lý này, nguồn nước ở khu vực nuôi tôm siêu thâm canh của gia đình ông Nguyễn Trường Đại luôn được đảm bảo, đồng thời còn có thêm nguồn khí gas làm chất đốt phục vụ sinh hoạt và làm nhiên liệu cho máy phát điện.
Thấy sáng kiến của ông Đại có hiệu quả, giúp tôm sinh trưởng và phát triển nhanh hơn, hạn chế dịch bệnh và giải quyết đáng kể tình trạnh ô nhiễm nguồn nước trong chăn nuôi, nhân viên của Công ty cổ phần chăn nuôi C.P.
